Scott Kraus has a diverse work experience in the education industry. Scott began their career at McGraw-Hill Education as an Assistant Editor for Math, where they worked from January 2009 to June 2013. After that, they joined Pearson Global Education & Technology Group as a Math Editor from June 2013 to June 2015. Following this, Scott worked at Aptara as a Math Editor from July 2015 to May 2016, where they developed and reviewed lesson content for a new Middle Grades Math curriculum. Scott then moved on to Victory Publishing as a Freelance Math Writer/Editor from December 2016 to August 2018, where they focused on writing math assessment items aligned with specific standards. Scott also worked as a Freelance Math Editor at CSA Creative from February 2017 onwards. Currently, they are employed at Savvas Learning Co (formerly Pearson K12 Learning) as the Lead Grade-Level Math Editor for Elementary-level math.
Scott Kraus earned their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Business from Edison State Community College from 1992 to 1995. From 1996 to 1998, they attended Illinois Wesleyan University, where they studied Spanish Language Teacher Education. Finally, from 1998 to 2000, Scott completed their Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Math Education at Florida Gulf Coast University.
