Barry Canning

Barry Canning is currently serving as the P-8A Increment 3 Ground Station Cybersecurity Lead at Sigma Defense Systems LLC, providing Cybersecurity Systems Engineering support since March 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Program Analyst at RBC, Incorporated, where Barry provided expertise on Full Spectrum Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) for the P-8A Family of Systems. Previous positions include Senior Analyst roles at Navmar Applied Sciences and DDL OMNI Engineering LLC, focusing on ASW and operational testing, along with significant training and management experience at Fidelity Technologies and General Physics. Barry Canning's career in the United States Navy also includes extensive operational experience as an Aviation Warfare Systems Operator. Barry holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University.
