Shahla Khan Ph.D. is an experienced professional in wellness and education, currently serving as the Active Older Adult Wellness Program Coordinator at Sawgrass Country Club since June 2015. Shahla is also the owner of Mind Body Yoga LLC, where the focus is on Integrative Yoga Therapy aimed at enhancing health and well-being. Academic experience includes positions as an Instructor in the Department of Kinesiology at Jacksonville University and as a Senior Adjunct/Instructor in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of North Florida, in addition to previous roles as an Assistant Professor at Kennesaw State University. Shahla holds a Ph.D. in Exercise Science with a major in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Sports Nutrition from Georgia State University, along with a Master’s degree in Environmental Psychology from the University of Surrey and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Biology from Roehampton University.
