Marius Grundmann

Marius Grundmann currently serves as the Dean of Leipzig University's Faculty of Physics and Earth System Sciences since October 2022 and has been a Professor at Leipzig University since December 2000. In addition, Marius has held the position of Chief Executive Officer at SaxonQ GmbH since June 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Technische Universität Berlin from October 1992 to December 2000 and as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Bellcore for a brief period in 1992. Marius Grundmann earned a Doctorate in Semiconductor Heteroepitaxy (Dr. rer. nat.) and a Dipl.-Phys. in Physics from Technische Universität Berlin, completing the latter in 1988.
