Keith Houchin Aia, Ncarb

Keith Houchin, AIA, NCARB has a diverse work experience in the architectural field. Keith is currently the Vice President and Associate Principal at SB Architects, a role they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President and Senior Designer at SB Architects from December 2020 to June 2021. Keith started their career at SB Architects in July 2016 as a Senior Associate and Senior Designer, where they worked until December 2020.

Before joining SB Architects, Keith worked at WATG and Wimberly Interiors from November 2014 to June 2016. During their time there, they served as a Designer and was responsible for leading project design for hospitality destinations of various scales. Keith also developed project design concepts, coordinated with internal teams and external consultants, and acted as a client liaison. Keith was also involved in creating and maintaining workflow standards for 3D modeling.

Prior to WATG and Wimberly Interiors, Keith worked at Harris Architecture and Design in 2010 as a Designer, where they focused on commercial, residential, and renovation projects. Keith also developed office CAD standards.

Before that, Keith gained experience at Isaman Design as a Draftsman from 2006 to 2008, and at Above Grade Engineering as a Draftsman from 2006 to 2007.

Keith Houchin, AIA, NCARB has a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, with a focus on architecture. Keith also participated in a study abroad program at DIS, where they continued their fourth-year studies in architecture. Additionally, Keith holds a Master of Architectural Management and Design (MAMD) from IE Business School, specializing in architectural management and advanced design.
