Evelyn Yang

Evelyn Yang is a Computer Science graduate from UC Santa Barbara with extensive experience in software engineering and web development. Currently an intern at routemyorders.com, Evelyn develops a RESTful delivery order routing web application, integrating a Ruby on Rails backend with a React frontend. As a member of the founding executive board at SB Creative Lab, Evelyn designs and builds websites while managing social media. Previous roles include office assistant at UCSB Office of Budget & Planning, where website creation and process automation were key responsibilities, and software engineering positions at Apple and D8AI Inc., focusing on image classification and chatbot development. Additional experience includes participation in Google's Software Product Sprint, where a productivity app was developed, and teaching coding to young students at CAMP EDMO.
