Xiaolu Rao

Xiaolu Rao is an accomplished Senior Project Manager in ATO at SBB CFF FFS since October 2018, specializing in interoperable ATO solutions and representing SBB on significant EU Rail System programs. Xiaolu has been a Council Member at the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers since April 2018 and has extensive experience in intelligent railway control and safety technology from previous roles at Siemens, where responsibilities included R&D, system requirement specifications, software design, and Total Quality Management System oversight. Education includes a Ph.D. in Railway Transportation from ETH Zürich and various engineering degrees from Southwest Jiaotong University, complemented by early experience as a Product Engineer at Intel Corporation.
