Svetlana Meritt is an accomplished author and director at Hypatia House Publishing Imprint, where a significant publication includes the spiritual travelogue "Meet Me In The Underworld: How 77 Sacred Sites, 770 Cappuccinos, & 26,000 Miles Led Me to My Soul" launched in 2015. In addition, Svetlana has served as an instructor at SBCC, UCSB, and CLL since 2007. Previously, as a foreign correspondent for Ilustrovana Politika from 1989 to 2002, Svetlana reported on events such as the Academy Awards, interviewed notable figures including the Dalai Lama and Yoko Ono, and produced travel articles focused on American life. Svetlana holds a Master's degree in French Literature from the University of California Santa Barbara, earned between 1989 and 1991.
