Alexander Witte

Alexander Witte is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in risk management across various banking institutions. Currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer at Sberbank Europe AG since December 2017, Witte has previously held key positions, including Adviser to the Management Board at Promsvyazbank, Chief Risk Officer at JSC VTB Bank (Ukraine), and Regional Chief Risk Officer for Asia at Raiffeisen Bank International AG. Witte's career spans over two decades, with significant roles in Raiffeisen Bank group entities in Serbia and Ukraine. Witte holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of Vienna, having studied law there from 1980 to 1986.
