Maxime Bonafous

Maxime Bonafous currently serves as the Planning & Project Control Department Manager at SBM Offshore, with a tenure that began in August 2009. In this role, responsibilities include managing a nitrogen generation improvement initiative aimed at enhancing the capacity of inert gas generation systems for Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) units. Previous positions at SBM Offshore include Project Controls Manager for the BROWSE and BAROSSA turret mooring system proposals, as well as Product Line Project Controls Manager for LNG & Renewables and FPSO Product Lines. Maxime has significant experience in project planning and control on high-value EPCI contracts and has managed multidisciplinary planning teams across various global locations. Earlier experience includes roles at SAIPEM UK and Saipem, focusing on project control and planning in deep water operations and LNG plant extensions. Maxime holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Centrale Méditerranée and a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Université catholique de Louvain.
