Christopher Gates

Christopher Gates, M.S., currently serves as a Space Weather Physical Scientist at the 557th Weather Wing since January 2023. With extensive experience spanning over two decades in the United States Air Force, Christopher held various roles including Program Manager for the 55th Combat Training Squadron, where leadership encompassed an 8-member team delivering critical weather information to a substantial array of subordinate companies. Additionally, Christopher has been the Lead Writer for Daily Norseman at SB Nation since 2006, showcasing skills in communication and reporting. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in National Security from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Criminal Justice from Ashford University, complemented by two Associate degrees from the Community College of the Air Force in Instructor of Military Technology and Meteorology.
