Matthew Modderno, MBA, serves as the Research and Development Project Manager at the FAA since June 2008, overseeing critical projects such as Real-Time Hazard Area Generation and Traffic Flow Management Modeling. Prior roles included Information Officer and Deputy Project Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing information requests and preparing communications for various stakeholders. In addition to FAA work, Matthew is an SB Nation Basketball Writer focusing on the Washington Wizards and co-hosts the podcast "Bleav in Wizards." Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Business Administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland.
