Thomas Cavanagh

Thomas Cavanagh is a seasoned media professional currently serving as the Media Services Coordinator at CBS Sports since September 2022, where Thomas leads the Archives Logging Team. Previous roles at CBS include Archives Logger, responsible for creating over 300 detailed logs for various live sports broadcasts, and Broadcast Associate, contributing to the CBS Sports Network's daily show "Time To Schein." Thomas also manages the SB Nation team blog Rumble in the Garden, covering St. John's athletics, while writing about Big East college basketball for House Enterprise as a Beat Writer. Earlier experiences include serving as Sports Director and Social Media Manager at WSJU Radio and as a production assistant for the university podcast Storming STEM. Thomas began involvement in media as a news anchor and play-by-play broadcaster during high school at St. Francis Prep, culminating with a Communications degree from St. John's University in 2023.
