René van der Meij

René van der Meij is the CTO at SBR Nexus and a Member of the Executive Committee at XBRL Europe aisbl. René represents XBRL NL in the Executive Committee and serves as the Co-Chair of the XBRL Europe workgroup on ESG. Previously, René was a Business Unit Manager at Visma Connect B.V., a Consultant at Thauris, and a Graduate Intern at ProRail. René holds a MSc in Engineering and Policy Analysis from Delft University of Technology, a Master's degree in Risk management from NTNU, and a Bsc in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
