Kearyn Cox

Kearyn Cox is a Cross-Platform Journalist at the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia, specifically for the NITV News and Current Affairs platforms since August 2021. Additionally, Kearyn serves as a Journalist and Producer for NBL 1 West and has experience as a Sports Commentator for 100.9fm Noongar Radio. Previous roles include Producer and Host at Curtin University and Intern at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). As an Indigenous Student Guild Officer at Curtin University, Kearyn represented Aboriginal students and facilitated cultural events, contributing to a team that achieved tenth place at the 2018 Indigenous Nationals. Coaching junior sports teams at Guildford Grammar School and working in various retail positions also form part of Kearyn's background. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at The University of Western Australia, Kearyn's educational journey began at Guildford Grammar School.
