Rob Hussey

Rob Hussey has extensive experience in technology management and web development, currently serving as the Technical & Strategic Operations Manager and Platform Engineering Manager at Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia since January 2017. Prior to SBS, Rob worked at Allure Media as Technology Manager and Lead Web Developer, contributing to the Australian versions of several prominent websites including Business Insider and Gizmodo. Earlier experience includes freelance web development at haseydesign, specializing in PHP, CodeIgniter, MySQL, and frontend technologies, as well as development of the open-source libraries 'flexi-auth' and 'flexi-cart.' Rob began their career as IT and Marketing Manager at Euro Mounts and Findings, overseeing IT and media operations and leading the design and development of websites in both the UK and Australia.
