Michel Lowy co-founded SC Lowy in 2009, serving as Global Portfolio Manager and Chief Executive Officer, focusing on distressed, special situations, and private credit investing over a career that spans more than 25 years. Prior to SC Lowy, Michel Lowy was Managing Director at Deutsche Bank from 1999 to 2009, where leadership of the Asia Pacific Strategic Investment Group and the Distressed Products Group was accomplished, along with the establishment of market-leading franchises in Asia, Japan, and Latin America. Earlier experience includes an Investment Analyst role at Cargill Financial Markets from 1996 to 1999, where Michel Lowy built the Value Investment Group in Singapore and invested in Japan's first non-performing loans in the late 1990s. Michel Lowy's career commenced as an Auditor at Arthur Andersen from 1993 to 1996. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Business Engineering with a concentration in Finance from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, completed between 1988 and 1993.
