Karan Khurana

Karan Khurana currently serves as the CEO of METRO Romania, a position held since August 2024. Prior to this, Karan worked with METRO AG from February 2019 to August 2024, where duties included Director of Sales & Operations, Board Member for Turkey and Japan, and leading growth transformation efforts. Karan has extensive experience in the retail sector, having held various senior roles at InviKtus Management Consulting as CEO, and at Cold Storage Supermarkets Singapore and Carrefour Malaysia & Singapore as Operations Director and Commercial Director respectively. Earlier career highlights include positions at Tesco Stores, Makro Cash and Carry, and an initial role as an Investment Banker at Merrill Lynch. Karan's academic credentials feature an MBA from Cornell University and multiple master's degrees from prestigious institutions including The London School of Economics and the University of Arizona.
