Jennifer Black

Jennifer Black has a diverse work experience that spans multiple roles and organizations. Currently, they serve as the Director of Academic Partnerships and Engagement at SC Technical College System since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Central Carolina Technical College where they held various positions including Regional Career Specialist, Adjunct Psychology Instructor, Dual Enrollment Coordinator, and Secondary Program Coordinator. In their role as Regional Career Specialist, they provided professional development and support for Career and Technology Education initiatives within six school districts. Jennifer also assisted local education agencies in complying with state and federal laws. As an Adjunct Psychology Instructor, Jennifer actively participated in online discussions, provided feedback on student work, and taught various psychology courses. Jennifer held this position from August 2017 until December 2022. Additionally, they served as the Dual Enrollment Coordinator from March 2013 to January 2021 and as the Secondary Program Coordinator from November 2011 to March 2013.

Jennifer Black completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies at the University of South Carolina Sumter from 2006 to 2010. Later, from 2015 to 2017, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Social Psychology from Walden University.
