Larry Altenburg

Larry Altenburg has a diverse work experience spanning from 1993 to 2022. Larry has held various leadership positions in different organizations, including SC&A Inc., where they served as the Senior Vice President and CIO, leading the enterprise risk and resilience management consulting business. Larry also worked at Rapiscan Systems as a Vice President, overseeing security programs for the US Government. Larry Altenburg has experience in the consulting industry, having worked at Gartner and Booz Allen Hamilton in senior leadership roles. Larry has also been involved in the education sector as a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, they have served on the National Board of Directors for the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. Larry Altenburg started their career at the US Department of Energy, where they held the position of Executive Officer. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in enterprise risk management and critical infrastructure assurance, as well as experience in government, consulting, and non-profit sectors.

Larry Altenburg has a diverse education history. In 1983, they completed their high school education at South Side HS. Larry went on to enroll at the University of Pennsylvania in 1988, where they studied Political Science and obtained their B.A. degree in 1992. In 1997, Larry briefly pursued graduate coursework in Government Administration at the University of Pennsylvania. Later, from 2000 to 2003, they attended the University of Virginia and completed their Master's degree in Urban and Environmental Planning. Additionally, in May 2003, Larry obtained the certification of Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA.
