Ted F.

Ted F. has over 14 years of work experience in the IT field. Ted started their career in 2006 as a Network Engineer at Concordia Advisors. In 2007, they moved on to become a Senior Programmer/Analyst at G&B Solutions, Inc. where they worked with Cold Fusion, DHTML, XML, CSS, Java Script, and T-SQL Programming to support various software applications for the USDA. In 2008, they worked as a Tester III at ProtoTest, where they were responsible for triaging Perl based automated tests and performing manual tests. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at i-cubed, LLC as a Software Engineer, building and maintaining an automated test platform to test all aspects of the DataDoors GIS cloud Saas software. In 2015, they joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Software Engineer and worked on the automated testing infrastructure written primarily in Python with a web-based front end using Flask. Ted then moved on to implementing various automated build and test pipelines using Jenkins. In 2017, they joined Insight Global as a Software Engineer and was responsible for installers and packaging software for distribution on Linux and Windows. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at CIRA Colorado State University as a Software Engineer/Web and Database Developer, working on Air Quality websites, databases, data processing, and performing Linux/Windows system administration tasks. Currently, they are working as an Automation Engineer at Scala Computing.

Ted F. started their educational journey at West Virginia Wesleyan College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government and History in 1991. Ted then attended Front Range Community College Larimer Campus, where they studied Computer Network Support. In 2002, Ted F. earned a Master of Science in Computer Information Science from Regis University, with a focus on Object-Orientated Software Engineering.
