Nicholas Pervolarakis, PhD

Nicholas Pervolarakis, PhD has a diverse range of work experience in the field of bioinformatics and computational biology. Nicholas began their career at UC Irvine, where they worked as a Graduate Student from August 2015 to July 2021. Following this, they joined Active Motif as a Computational Biologist in August 2021 and later transitioned to the role of Bioinformatics Scientist II in October 2022. At Active Motif, they worked until May 2023. Currently, Nicholas is employed at Scale Biosciences as a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist, a position they have held since May 2023.

Nicholas Pervolarakis, PhD, pursued their education in a systematic and progressive manner. Beginning in 2011, they enrolled at the University of Michigan for their undergraduate studies. During the four-year period from 2011 to 2015, Nicholas dedicated himself to the field of Microbiology, culminating in the acquisition of a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.

Subsequently, Nicholas undertook advanced studies at UC Irvine as part of their educational journey. From 2015 to 2021, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree specializing in Mathematical, Computational, and Systems Biology.
