Mark Pfeiffer

Mark Pfeiffer is an accomplished leader in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics, currently serving as the Head of Engineering for the Generative AI Platform at Scale AI since November 2021, where Mark focuses on developing Gen AI solutions for enterprise customers. Prior to this role, Mark co-founded SiaSearch and served as CTO, creating innovative data selection tools for computer vision, which was later acquired by Scale AI. Mark's extensive experience includes positions as a Machine Intelligence Engineer at Merantix and as a Research Assistant at ETH Zurich, where work involved mobile robot navigation and advanced machine learning applications. Mark holds a Dr sc. ETH Zurich in Robotics, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich.
