Mark Mertens has held various roles in the sales industry since 2008. Mark began their career as a Territory Sales Manager for Ocean Minded in 2008, followed by a role as Territory Manager SE USA for Global Surf Industries in 2010. In 2017, they took on a Sales Manager role for Natural Zinc USA, and a Sales Representative role for ulu LAGOON. In 2018, they moved to Surftech - The Original Board Manufacturing Company as a Sales Representative. In 2019, they were a Florida Sales Representative for Native Eyewear. In 2020, they were a Sales Representative for Amavara Skincare, and in 2021 they took on Sales Representative roles for Loctote Industrial Bag Co. | Anti-theft bags and Simba Action Sports, Inc.

Mark Mertens obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Florida Atlantic University between 1982 and 1986.
