Lam Pham Sy is a highly experienced research engineer with a focus on coding techniques in storage systems and communications. Since May 2015, Lam has been employed at Scality, specializing in enhancing data reliability in distributed storage systems. Prior to this, work at Orange involved R&D on coding techniques for data storage, and a postdoctoral role at ENSEA included implementing Raptor code standards. Previous positions included research on channel coding for satellite communications at Eutelsat and developing Low-Density Parity-Check codes during a PhD at CEA. Lam holds a PhD in Information and Communication Technology from Cergy-Pontoise University, a Master’s degree from Grenoble-INP, and an Engineer's degree from Hanoi University of Sciences and Technology.
