Paal Jahre Nilsen

Paal Jahre Nilsen has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Paal Jahre started their career in 1990 as a Senioringeniør in the DNV - Oil & Gas sector. From 1997 to 2004, they worked as a Principal Research Scientist at the Abb Corporate Research Center. Paal Jahre then joined DNV - Oil & Gas as the Global Gas Manager from 2004 to 2005. In 2005, they moved to Aibel, where they worked as a Principal Scientist until 2008. From 2008 to 2018, they served as the VP Technology Development at Cambi Group. Currently, they hold the position of VP Innovation at Scanship, starting from October 2018.

Paal Jahre Nilsen obtained their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mechanics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1983 and 1992.
