Sofie Weber

Sofie Weber has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Sofie started their career as a Laboratory Technician at Karolinska Institutet in 1999 and then moved on to work as a Research Scientist at AstraZeneca R&D from 2000 to 2012. After that, they joined Casa STHLM as a Producer & Communications Manager from 2012 to 2014. Sofie then worked as a Behandlings Assistent at Statens institutionsstyrelse for a year before joining Adlego Biomedical AB in 2015 as a Study Director. Sofie worked in this role for seven years until 2022. Currently, Sofie is employed as a Study Director at Scantox Group, where they started in September 2022.

Sofie Weber's education history includes several different institutions and fields of study. In 1997, they attended Säbyholmsgymnasiet and studied Djurvård until 2000. Some years later, they went on to study at Karolinska Institutet, where they pursued a degree in Function A. At a later point, they also studied at Karolinska Institutet for a degree in Function C & D, as well as a degree in Lag & Etik. Additionally, in 2010 and 2011, Sofie attended Villanova University, focusing on Lean Six Sigma. In 2019, they briefly attended Karolinska Institutet again, this time acquiring knowledge in Design of scientific procedures and projects through the Function B program.
