Michael Lotfy

Michael Lotfy is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in solar energy projects. Currently serving as Plant Manager at Scatec ASA since September 2018, Michael has held various roles within the company, including Plant Supervisor, O&M Engineer, and Project Electrical Engineer on the 400 MW solar project at Benban Solar Park. Prior experience includes working as Site Electrical Engineer for IND Solar Power Plant on the 50 MW Phoenix project, as well as roles at Dealer Co and Connecon, where responsibilities included the installation and connection of solar electrical equipment. Michael's career began with implementing digital traffic lights at EL Batol for Electromechanicals and serving as a Light Current Engineer at Masr Holanda for Construction. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, earned in 2016.
