Varunya Thavornun

Varunya Thavornun has been working in the tech industry since 2009. Varunya started their career as a Web Application Developer Intern at The Stock Exchange of Thailand. In 2010, they moved to Throughwave (Thailand) Company Limited as a Developer where they implemented user interface for collaboration system program, developed Peer-to-Peer system for data sharing via iPhone on both platforms; Java and obj-c, and implemented user interface for email system using Javascript, Jquery, Dojo, Java and Play framework. In 2012, they joined Khroton Company Limited (SocialVio Company Limited) as a Developer. In 2016, they moved to Agoda as a Data Engineer. Most recently, in 2018, they joined SCB Abacus as a Senior Data Engineer.

Varunya Thavornun has a comprehensive educational background. Varunya began their studies in 2003, earning their Higher School Certificate from Triamudomsuksa Pattanakarn in Bangkok Thailand in 2006. Varunya then went on to earn their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Chulalongkorn University in 2010. Varunya Thavornun then furthered their studies by completing an Erasmus Mundus Master in Information Technologies for Business Intelligence from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, a Master of Sciences and technologies from Université de Tours, and a Master of Science in Computer science and engineering from Université libre de Bruxelles, all between 2013 and 2015.
