Jonas Bengtsson

Jonas Bengtsson is the General Counsel and Head of Corporate Security & Resilience at Vattenfall since August 2024, also serving as a board member at the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce since January 2019. Previously, Bengtsson held the position of Head of Corporate Affairs at Polarium from December 2021 to August 2024 and was the General Counsel at Telia from December 2013 to December 2021, where an acting CEO role for Telia Finland Oy was also undertaken in early 2020. Prior experience includes the role of General Counsel at Tele 2 from April 2007 to December 2013, and at Utfors AB from April 2000 to March 2002. Bengtsson was also an Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Telenor AB from March 2002 to 2006 and worked as an associate at Mannheimer Swartling from March 1997 to April 2000. Bengtsson earned an LLM from Lund University between 1991 and 1995 and completed secondary education at S:t Lars Gymnasium in Linköping, Sweden, from 1986 to 1990.
