Martin Finlayson

Martin Finlayson has a diverse work experience in the field of visual communications and technology solutions. Martin started their career at Emrad Limited as a Research & Development Engineer before moving on to roles such as IT Manager at SMIS Limited and IT Consultant at FinNet Solutions. Martin then worked as the Technical Director EMEA at ViewCast Corp for almost a decade before joining Nortel as a Multimedia Solutions - Streaming specialist. After that, they worked at Datpresenter as an Enterprise Business Development manager. Martin also held roles at Twofour Digital as a Business Development associate, Stream UK as a Director - Channel Strategy, and Imago Group PLC as a Technical Consultant, Principal Solutions Architect, European Product Marketing Manager, and Pre-Sales Consultant & Head of Training. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Visual Communications at SCC Collaboration, where they provide pre-sales consultancy for various visual communications technologies. Overall, Martin Finlayson has a vast expertise in the video-based technologies industry and has held multiple roles in sales, technical consultancy, product marketing, and training.

Martin Finlayson attended Farnborough College of Technology from 1983 to 1988 but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Martin also completed an Electronics Apprenticeship at the Royal Aircraft Establishment from 1983 to 1987. In addition to their education, Martin has obtained various certifications from institutions such as Microsoft, Zoom, Poly, HP, Pexip, Utelogy Corporation, SDVoE Alliance, Prometric, Crestron EMEA, Palo Alto Networks, and Cisco. These certifications cover a range of technical expertise and were obtained between 2017 and 2023.
