Frederik Gorter de Vries

Frederik Gorter de Vries has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in the finance and corporate development sectors. Frederik is currently serving as the Senior Director of Finance & Corporate Development at Scenic Biotech since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Executive Director of Corporate Finance - Life Sciences & Healthcare at Kempen & Co from March 2016 to May 2021. Frederik also gained valuable experience at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where they held roles in Capital Structuring & Advisory from October 2014 to February 2016, and in Corporate Finance & Capital Markets from June 2009 to September 2014.

Frederik began their career as an intern at Aescap Venture from November 2007 to April 2008.

Frederik Gorter de Vries completed their Master of Science in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences from Leiden University, a six-year program from 2002 to 2008. Frederik also pursued executive education at INSEAD in 2019, specializing in Advanced International Corporate Finance.
