Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Badheeb

Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Badheeb has extensive experience in the field of medicine. Prof. Ahmed Mohamed currently serves as the Program Director - Internal Medicine at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), a position they have held since December 2018. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant Medical Oncology & Internal Medicine at King Khalid Hospital Najran starting from October 2013. Prof. Ahmed Mohamed also served as the President of Hadhramout Cancer Foundation from August 2006 to October 2013.

Prof. Badheeb has held various roles at Hadhramout University, including Vice Dean & Professor of Medical Oncology / Internal Medicine from October 2000 to October 2013. Prof. Ahmed Mohamed also served as the Head of Clinical Training from September 2004 to June 2007. Additionally, they worked as an Oncology Specialist at King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center from July 2007 to June 2010.

In their earlier career, Prof. Badheeb held the position of a Medical Oncologist at King Hussein Cancer Center from the year 2007 to 2010. Prof. Ahmed Mohamed also served as the National Coordinator at Hadhramout Governorate from October 2005 to June 2007.

Throughout their career, Prof. Badheeb has contributed to research in the field of medicine. Prof. Ahmed Mohamed served as the Head of Internal Medicine at a research institution from January 2002 to August 2004. Prior to this, they were the Head of ICU at Ibn Siena Teaching Hospital from January 2001 to January 2002.

Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Badheeb holds a Doctorate degree in medicine from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Aden, which they obtained between 1989 and 1995. Prof. Ahmed Mohamed pursued a Higher degree in internal medicine at Jordan University from 1996 to 2000. Additionally, they completed a Clinical fellowship in Bone marrow transplantation at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in the United States in 2009.
