Dharmesh Arora

Dharmesh Arora is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as the CEO of Asia Pacific for Schaeffler AG since August 2012, where the Asia Pacific region contributes $2 billion to the company's $15 billion global sales. Previously, Dharmesh Arora held the position of CEO of India, overseeing a $500 million business and successfully merging four legal entities into a single strong listed entity. Prior to Schaeffler, Dharmesh Arora spent nearly 20 years at General Motors, where roles included Global Purchasing Director for Powertrain and other key components, managing annual purchases exceeding $3 billion and demonstrating expertise in supply chain management. Dharmesh Arora began their career at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, establishing a core team for type approval and homologation critical for exports. Educational qualifications include a TRIUM Global Executive MBA obtained from prestigious institutions such as NYU Stern, The London School of Economics, and HEC Paris, combined with a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Mumbai.
