Pete Scherer

Pete Scherer serves as President and CEO of Scherer Bros. Lumber Co. since November 1989 and has been President of the General Partner for Scherer Limited Partnership since 1995. Additionally, Pete Scherer is a board member at Swanson & Youngdale, Inc. and the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, and served on the Board of Directors for Ryan Companies US, Inc. from November 2012 to November 2018 and TCF Financial Corporation from August 2003 to December 2008. Prior to these roles, Pete Scherer worked as an AVP in Real Estate Lending at American National Bank in St. Paul from 1986 to 1989. Educational background includes a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, completed between 1982 and 1986, along with secondary education at Benilde - St. Margaret's from 1978 to 1982.
