Bertrand Barbet

Bertrand Barbet has a diverse range of work experience in procurement and business development. Bertrand is currently working as the Head of Procurement Group - Center of Excellence at Schindler Group. Prior to this, they held various roles at ENGIE, including Head of Business Development for Procurement services - Global Business Support BU, Head of Business Process Outsourcing in Americas - Global Business Support, and Group Procurement Category Manager for Process Control Automation & Instrumentation. Before joining ENGIE, Barbet worked at Sogefi Group as a Commodity Leader for Steel & Metallic parts and as a Rubber Commodity Buyer. Bertrand began their career as a Program Buyer at Renault and also gained experience as a Stagiaire Assistant ingénieur at AREP.

Bertrand Barbet earned a Master's degree in International Procurement from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) between 2009 and 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Licence degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in International Business from Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2008 to 2009. Bertrand also holds a DUT degree in Thermal Engineering and Energy from Université Paris Nanterre, which they completed at IUT Ville d'Avray from 2005 to 2008. Bertrand'sstudies focused on subjects such as thermodynamics, thermal transfer, fluid mechanics, and mathematics.
