Rpn Cheryl Janssen

Cheryl Janssen, RPN has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Cheryl currently holds the position of Director of People Engagement at Schlegel Villages, a role they started in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Maxwell Management Group Ltd. from January 2019 to August 2021, serving as a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant and later as the Director of Operations-Ontario and Eastern Canada.

Before joining Maxwell Management Group Ltd., Cheryl worked at Grover Dental Care as the Chief Operations Officer (Interim) from September 2017 to January 2019. In this role, they oversaw multiple dental practices and was responsible for HR, marketing, practice operations, and clinical flow.

From 2014 to 2016, Cheryl worked at Sienna Senior Living, first as the Director of Wellness and then as a General Manager. Prior to that, they served as the Health and Wellness Manager at Chartwell Retirement Residences from October 2013 to June 2014.

Cheryl's career in the healthcare industry started in 2008 when they joined Shalom Gardens as a Care Coordinator (Director of Wellness), a position they held until October 2013.

Throughout their career, Cheryl has gained extensive experience in healthcare management, talent acquisition, and operations.

Cheryl Janssen, RPN has a diverse education history that spans several years. In 2000-2001, they attended Mohawk College and obtained a Registered Practical Nursing Certificate. Following this, from 2010 to 2013, Cheryl pursued a Long Term Care Management Certificate from the Canadian Healthcare Association. In 2018, they became a Certified Kolbe Consultant, obtaining their certification from Kolbe Corp. Presently, Cheryl is working towards a Human Resources degree from Mohawk College, with an expected completion in 2024.
