Melissa Fulham, PhD

Melissa Fulham, PhD is a Senior Scientist II at Scholar Rock, where Melissa develops in vivo rodent disease models for drug mechanistic studies. Prior to this, Melissa worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Pfizer, characterizing a rodent model of a rare metabolic disease. Melissa completed their PhD at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, studying stress proteins in inflammation in alcoholic liver disease. Melissa began their research career as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, focusing on basic laboratory techniques in the model system Arabidopsis thaliana.
