Kelly Sutton

Kelly Sutton is a technology leader and entrepreneur with extensive experience in software engineering and product development. Currently serving as the CTO and Founder of Scholarly Software since June 2023, Kelly previously held key roles at Gusto!, focusing on teaching and enhancing technical capabilities while leading a team to refactor a critical payroll calculator. Kelly's career includes founding and leading startups, such as LayerVault, which provided version control for designers, and HackCollege, which evolved into a significant student-run platform. Other notable positions include Chief Product Officer at imgix, Front-end Engineer at Gilt Groupe, and Junior Software Engineer at blip.tv. Kelly holds a dual degree in Computer Science and Film Production from Loyola Marymount University.
