Sawatree Green is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement and production management within the publishing industry. Currently serving as the Director of Global Direct Procurement at Scholastic since February 2001, Sawatree has successfully organized and submitted procurement proposals, resulting in significant savings of $29.5 million over two four-year periods. Previous roles include Director of Book and Non-Book Planning and Manufacturing Manager at Scholastic, Production Manager at Penguin Group USA, and Production Coordinator at Putnam & Grosset Group.
