Amit Gupta

Amit Gupta has a diversified work experience in finance and research. Amit started as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin in 2003, then transitioned into roles like Quantitative Trader at The D. E. Shaw Group and Vice President at AQR Capital Management. Amit was also the COO/Head of Quant Research at Elk Capital Markets and Founding Partner/CEO at Modal Capital LP. Their latest role was at GTS Digital as a Quantitative Trader, and they are currently working as the Head of Business Analytics at Schonfeld.

Amit Gupta attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in the Plan II Honors Program.
