Stephen Markos

Stephen Markos is an experienced educator currently serving as an ELL Teacher at the School City of Hobart since August 2021, specializing in creating engaging lesson plans and providing individualized support to enhance language proficiency. Previous roles include Social Studies Teacher/Coach, where Stephen prepared instructional materials and addressed academic challenges, as well as service in the U.S. Air Force Reserve as an Aircraft Metals Technology specialist. Additional experience encompasses diverse positions such as Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service, Officer for the Porter County Sheriff's Department, Infantry Soldier in the Army National Guard, and Security Officer with Allied Universal. Stephen holds a Bachelor's degree in History from Indiana University Northwest, along with a Teaching Accreditation & Licensure from Teachers of Tomorrow.
