Dave Truss

Dave Truss has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Dave is currently serving as a School Principal at Millside Centre in School District No. 43 (Coquitlam). Prior to this role, they worked as an Open Thinker and shared daily blog posts on various topics. Dave also served as a Principal at Maple Leaf Educational Systems, where they were responsible for administrative duties and implemented technological advancements in the school. In addition, Dave has experience as a Vice Principal and Educator at School District 43 (Coquitlam). Dave has also worked as an Inventor/Owner at Aktiv Accessories and as a Manager at Starbucks. Furthermore, they have coaching experience in water polo at Guelph WPC and York Maverick Water Polo Club.

Dave Truss has a diverse education history. Dave obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Development with a minor in Rural Extension from the University of Guelph between 1986 and 1991. Dave then pursued a Bachelor of Education in the Middle Years Program from The University of British Columbia from 1997 to 1998. Lastly, they completed a Masters of Science in Educational Leadership from the University of Oregon between 2004 and 2006.
