Ashley Okhovat

Ashley Okhovat has a diverse background in volunteer work and medical assistance, currently serving as a Volunteer Tutor at School on Wheels, Inc. since August 2022. Simultaneously, Ashley holds roles as a Medical Scribe and Medical Assistant at Pulmonary Professionals, Inc. since June 2021, where responsibilities include patient interaction and documentation. With extensive involvement at Chapman University, Ashley has held multiple leadership positions, including Co-President of the Be KYnd to Your Heart Foundation and Faculty-Appointed Student Representative for the Schmid College Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force. Ashley's contributions also encompass research in plant microbiology and epidemiological studies on COVID-19, alongside various volunteer roles including work with Global Brigades, Save a Child's Heart, and the founding of Read & Recycle. Ashley completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Chapman University in December 2021.
