Maya Rassai has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2022, they became a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, which focuses on sisterhood, academic excellence, and social responsibility. In 2021, they held multiple positions at the SCU Multicultural Center, including being a Multicultural Representative for SCU's Intandesh program and a Freshman Representative Board Member for the Asian Pacific Student Union. Maya organized events, facilitated communication, and promoted Asian culture. In 2020, Maya worked at schoolhouse.world as a Founding Tutor, Auditor, Onboarding Specialist, and Social Media Marketing Intern. Maya helped in various operational and marketing tasks. During the same year, they joined John Muir Health as a member of the medical staff. In 2018, they worked as a Peer Tutor at Las Lomas High School and as a Staff Writer for The Page Magazine. Lastly, in 2020, they served as a Teaching Assistant and Student at CodeX, The Stanford Center for Legal Informatics, where they collaborated with graduate students on AI Ethics and developed a mobile banking product for underserved communities.

Maya then pursued higher education at Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business from 2021 to 2025, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Commerce, General.
