Peter Binas

Peter is a Managing Partner and leads the firm’s global direct public equity investing program targeting long-term holdings in developed, emerging, and frontier markets. He also oversees Schooner’s international investing efforts more broadly and provides strategic and corporate finance support across the full portfolio. Peter serves as a Director on the board of RailComm. Prior to Schooner, Peter worked for almost a decade with management consultancy McKinsey & Company. While there, he specialized in corporate finance and strategy, advising leading players in the consumer packaged goods and retail industries in the US, Latin America and Western Europe. Peter holds a JD/MBA from Harvard Law and from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker scholar, and an AB with Honors from Harvard University where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa in Economics and Social Studies.
