Andrew Campitelli has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of business development and technology. Andrew began their career at Laboratoire de Physique et Métrologie des Oscillateurs, working as a post-doctoral researcher, where they focused on developing a novel chemical sensor configuration. Andrew then joined imec, where they led the Biosensor Group and was responsible for the design and implementation of micro and nano sensors for medical diagnostic applications. At the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development, Victorian Government, they served as the Manager of Advanced Health Technologies and worked on strategic planning for the deployment of micro and nano technologies in healthcare systems. Currently, Andrew is the Vice President of Business Development at MiniFAB (Aust) Pty Ltd, where they lead the business development and sales activities for the APAC region, focusing on building relationships with clients and developing new business opportunities. Andrew has also previously held the role of Manager of Business Development at MiniFAB, where they were responsible for business relationships, product development strategies, and new business opportunities in the IVD, Point of Care diagnostics, and medical devices sectors. Overall, Andrew brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to organizations in the fields of business development, technology, and healthcare.
Andrew Campitelli obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) degree in Electronic Engineering from RMIT University, which they completed from 1989 to 1992. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering from the same university, which they achieved between 1993 and 1997. Later on, Andrew enrolled in Leadership Management Australia in 2013 to 2014, where they acquired a TSE Certificate IV in Business Sales, specializing in The Sales Edge.
