Dr. Matthias Mueller

Dr. Matthias Mueller has a diverse work experience, starting in 1999 as an R&D Engineer and Project Manager at Siemens Corp. R&D/ SiCrystal AG. Dr. Matthias then worked at Schott Lithotec AG from 2001 to 2007, where they held various roles including Head of Profitcenter Crystals and Head of Production/Project Manager. From 2007 to 2012, they served as the Product Group Director at WACKER SCHOTT Solar Wafer GmbH/SCHOTT Solar Wafer GmbH.

In 2012, Dr. Mueller joined SCHOTT, where they held positions such as Director Technology Center, Corp. Business Development and Head of Material Development, Corp. R&D. Their most recent role at SCHOTT was as the Executive VP Corporate R&D and New Ventures, a position they held until the present.

Dr. Matthias Mueller obtained their Ph.D. in Material Science from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg in 1999.
