Sophie Ainsworth

Sophie Ainsworth is a seasoned professional in communications and event management, currently serving as a Senior Communications Executive and previously held roles including Senior Event Executive and Events Assistant at Schroders since October 2019. Prior to this, Sophie spent nearly a decade as a professional athlete with UK Sport, achieving notable accomplishments as a member of the British Sailing Team Olympic development and performance squad. Significant achievements include participation in the Rio 2016 Olympics, winning multiple medals at the World and European Championships, and achieving a top 3 global ranking in 2015 and 2016. Sophie has received numerous accolades such as the British Sailing Team Development Sailor of the Year in 2012 and Crew of the Year in 2018, and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Exeter.
