Tobias Kranz

Tobias Kranz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Tobias started their career at Bundeskriminalamt as an Angestellter from August 2002 to September 2005. Tobias then joined Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) as a Research Assistant from September 2011 to February 2015, followed by a role as a Postdoctoral Researcher from March 2015 to December 2015. Since January 2016, Tobias has been associated with SCHUFA Holding AG, where they held the positions of Expert Innovation and Strategic Analysis from January 2016 to April 2017. Tobias then progressed to become the Head of Search Systems and Quality Department from May 2017 to October 2022, and currently holds the position of Head of Search and Identification since October 2022.

Tobias Kranz completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1999 to 2002, they attended the Bundeskriminalamt and obtained a degree as a Qualified IT Specialist, specializing in System Integration. Following that, they enrolled at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2005 to 2011 and earned a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur (Dipl.-Wi.-Ing.) in Business Administration and Engineering. Lastly, they continued their studies at KIT from 2011 to 2015, where they achieved a Doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) in Informationswirtschaft / Information Systems.
